SUNDAY GATHERING

Christ Church has met at 8:30am at El Melvin Cocina Mexicana in beautiful downtown Sarasota. We always served delicious organic coffee to support our environment and community.

The Gospel, God's gracious rescue of sinners through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, is both the subject and substance of our gatherings. Everything we do on Sundays has pointed us to Christ and His gospel!

At Christ Church, you could expect a mix of ancient worship patterns and modern music. We have been committed to the preaching of the Word of God and the sacraments of Communion and Baptism. Some parts of our service may have seemed familiar, some foreign, but everything has pointed us to the good news of Jesus Christ.

All have been welcome regardless of personal or religious background. Christ Church has here for the convinced and the unconvinced, the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical and the spiritual. We have invited you, no matter where you are in your journey, to taste and see the ordinary and the other-worldly as you have gathered with the risen Christ and His church.
